Classic Snickerdoodle - Not everyone can or would prefer to eat a peanut-containing cookie, and for those who clearly are missing out, I offer another classic, but nut-free, flavor combo…cinnamon and sugar. The classic Snickerdoodle’s list of ingredients belies its elegant complexity (or is it simplicity?), and when executed as well as I think this one is it is a uniquely soft, tender and pillowy, slightly tangy, cinnamony, delight. It most definitely is NOT a “cinnamon sugar cookie.” It is a Snickerdoodle. Stock up, these are as essential as Classic Chocolate Chip to have on hand!
